516 Gallery Winter / Spring 2010 Program Guide
The first exhibition of the year is Form & Function -
February 6 – April 3
A fundraising show featuring works for sale including Joan Weissman’s sample rugs and the work of contemporary artists and designers who explore sustainability, reuse, decoration and innovation.
Work includes alternative lighting, furniture, wall decor and jewelry, as well as eclectic art objects that play on the idea of function.
Local, national and international artists include Eliana Arenas, Angelo Arnold, Amandine Serran of Art Gens, Roger Atkins, Julia Barello, Jeannie Choe & Steven Tomlinson of AREAWARE, Roberto Gallegos, Cal Lane, Maria Michails and Beth Rekow.
Opening festivities Saturday, February 6, 6-8pm.
Members of 516 ARTS are invited to a Members-Only Preview 5-6pm.
March exhibition programs for Form & Function are in conjunction with the Women & Creativity series organized by the National Hispanic Cultural Center .
